Special effects

Bluescreens are commonly used in special effects.

The illusions used in the film, T.V, theater industries to simulate events that are not real in a story are called special effects

Special effects are divided in 2 categories: optical effects and mechanical effects. With the emergence of digital film-making tools a greater distinction between special effects and visual effects has been recognized.
Optical effects are also called photographic effects. Optical effects are techniques in which images or film frames are created photographically, using multiple exposure or using an optical printer.

An optical effect are used to put actors or places in different backgrounds.
Mechanical effects are usually accomplished during the live-action shooting. Mechanical effects are often incorporated into set design and makeup.

Since the 1990s, computer generated imagery (CGI) has come to the forefront of special effects technologies.

  1. It is amazing. Why? Because with a small change in the scene is insurance that you can obtain something totally different to the original scene. Also hoe the technology is growing up and you in this time can do wonders with it.
