Hi everyone, today I’m’ going to talk about the movie “Going the distance”, this is a romantic movie directed by Nanette Burstein, and written by Geoff Latullipe.
The main characters are Erin (Drew Barrymore) and Garret (Justin Long), they fall in love in 6 weeks, the only problem that they had is that they live in different cities, so they started a long distance relationship. This movie shows us that no matter what love always win; and also that If we love someone we have to do everything for them and not just think in our own goods, also think in theirs.
With this movie we can learn the meaning of friendship and love.
In this movie we can see the use of every kind of shots, they go from bird-eye shot to close-up shot; the music they use go with every scene, because they match the music with the things that are happening, so that makes the viewer get into the movie and feel what they are feeling.
Also Nanette Burstein had made other movies like: American Teen, On the Ropes, The Kid stays in the picture, Film school, Autobiography, American Shopper and more.
I recommend you this movie, because you are going to have fun, you are going to cry, and you are going to learn a lot of thing of friendship and love.
I haven't watch this movie but I would do it because is a very common topic so I want to see how the director developed it.
